Thank you to Sol Café in Ferrel and everybody who came | Photos by Roselle Knaus & Julie Dullum
Ferrel is a quiet little town, mostly known for its beautiful beaches, perfect waves, and sleepy atmosphere. Bringing the perfect caffeine to the coast, Sol created a community that extends beyond surf culture, promotes a creative lifestyle, and quickly became the meeting point for the society of Ferrel and beyond.
So it was only natural that we had to bring our worlds together, as so many of our paths had started at this very place. For example, we met photographer Holly Gable there and first heard and saw the work of Bondoso Bandido within these minimalistic yet warm walls. And what a day it was! We are truly speechless—so many of you came by and celebrated friendship, art, and the present moment with us.
Now that two days have passed since we all met, it’s beyond exciting to hear what we might have missed during the day: stories of irreversible art (a tattoo) on a guest’s body portraying our motto of the day, "Sol Café in Ferrel ruined my life." A neighbor tuning into the livestream because she wasn’t feeling social that day. Or our CJ Richards family watching him play tunes from their dinner table at home.
We couldn't have wished for more—seeing the wonderful artwork created by Bondoso Bandido together with our tall & small guests, or a group of strangers who just showed up, jammed together, and played into the sunset.
We can't wait for the next one. Berlin, we’re coming in May! Don't forget to preorder Ep4, to make it real.
