Vinicius Lopes was born in Tabocas do Brejo Velho, Bahia, in 1993. He currently lives and works in Porto, Portugal. His paintings investigate the aesthetic and structural potentialities of image production and how they are implicitly involved in cultural processes and the way events are documented and understood collectively.
