Anything Data is the playground the ‘Grotesk group’ loves to play at. When facts dissolve into art they open up a conversation, like with the work portrayed throughout the next pages. The group turned their human brains towards the topic of communication. Taking a look at the different paths our lives take, transforming them into lines, which occasionally cross but never seem to change course. 

By implementing those ways of life into trained models filled with information about the main communication systems of our time they asked the artificial intelligence to fill in the blanks, to connect and communicate. Following each iteration step, it seems like the machine becomes (or acts) more human. At times it blurs the lines, reconstructs, softens the edges and adds colour to the darkness, ultimately building city-like shapes. If we consider that the data provided is the observation of our behaviour, it almost acts as a hopeful look into the future.
